For muscadine grapes each of the arms should have at least 10 feet to spread out so the plants will be spaced 20 feet from one another. Dig 2 foot deep post holes 8 feet apart for every grape vine you will plant.

A large fence line is great for trellising grapes so long as you prune and maintain.
